The specific gravity of Miracle-sol which made from waste glasses used in concrete engineering can be adjustable from 0.4 to 1.5. This material is light because of its discontinuous void structure, and it is hard.

Index of endurance test is 3.7% with 0.4 specific gravity; it is lower than natural aggregate.

With internal discontinuous void structure, absorption rate is lower than general man-made aggregate.

In the case of using Miracle sol as a coarse aggregate, compression and bending-strength are increasing according to increase the specific gravity.

The table shows that result of compressive strength and bending test with
side ditch cover made of different specific gravity of Miracle sol. The strength decreases according to decrease the specific gravity.
But,the standard value of bending strength is 30kN. So, It has enough strength with its more than 0.6 specific gravity.
Moreover, it can reduce more than 10kg weight compare the former one with 55kg.

For the purpose to lighten the weight of cross block for anchor work, R
C block had made by using Miracle sol as lightweight material.
Miracle sol with discontinuous void structure of 0.8 specific gravity was used as fine aggregate. Table in left shows the mixing ratio of material
The compression strength test was performed on the concrete.The average
compressive strength are 23.6 N/mm2 at 7 days after curing and 30.8 N/mm2
at 28 days after curing, as shown in right table.
The concrete cross block has a mass of 760kg for conventional reinforced concrete, but 550kg for the new concrete in the test.
The new concrete block using Miracle sol is nearly two-thirds of the conventional concrete block.
Hence, the construction on the slope using the new concrete block becomes
easier and the transportation cost becomes inexpensive.
